And when the first teaser came out recently, we were again the first ones to tell you that this year the glass walled house will be designed like an aircraft.
Well, looks like we were absolutely right for some inside pictures of Bigg Boss house have been leaked on the internet space.
Yes, we have come across some pictures of the Bigg Boss house. And as we had rightly predicted, the house of horrors certainly looks like an aircraft. There are reclining seats, trolleys and those flight schedule boards. We can’t really verify the authenticity of these pictures, but they have indeed made their way online.
Well, if the glass walled house is going to look like this, it will surely be an interesting watch. But who are those celebrities who will be locked inside the house this year? Well, that is still unknown. But trust us, like always we would be the first ones to tell you about them.

Poonam Pandey nominates Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan to do the ALS ice bucket challenge – Watch video!

The Nasha babe POONAM PANDEY raises temperatures with her ALS ice bucket challenge

Poonam Pandey never misses a chance to strip. So, if she was not taking up the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, despite the likes of Sonakshi Sinha, Bipasha Basu and Sunny Leone doing it, it was not because she was scared to do it. Instead she had been building up the excitement of her fans through her Twitter account.
However, when the Nasha babe finally got ice cold water dumped on her head, she raised the mercury levels rather than promoting awareness of the disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Seductively opening her bathrobe to showing off an her black and gold bikini, Poonam took a small ice bath.
Before pouring those cubes of ice on her head, Pandey, in a very wannabe accent revealed that she was nominated by the RJs of Red FM and her Twitter followers to do the act, and now she has dared all the three Khans Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan to perform the challenge within 24 hours. Will they do it or not is yet to be seen.

When Mary Kom left Priyanka Chopra shocked…

What did the five time world champion tell PC that she was left shell-shocked

Priyanka Chopra is all pumped up for the release of her upcoming biopic on Olympic medalist MC Mary Kom. The Dil Dhadakne Do actor, however, said that when she first met Mary, a statement left her shell shocked. So what could this earth shattering statement be? We ask…
The petite heroine said, Mary Kom told me, Priyanka, people in India knew about Mary Kom when I won at the Olympics, but people in India really came to know who Mary Kom was, when Priyanka Chopra said yes to portray her onscreen’. Now wasn’t that shocking to the core that we Indians are unaware of such a great athlete?” Well said desi girl!
Wethinks Sanjay Leela Bhansali did the right thing by making the biopic on Mary Kom, because had he not made it, maybe 90 percent of India would have been unaware of such a great supporting talent. What do you say peeps?

Beintehaa: Zain and Aaliya separated!!!

To fulfill his promise made to Surraiya of marrying Sanam, Zain decides to divorce Aaliya

The most dreaded moment of Colors’ Beintehaa is finally here. Though the plot had earlier hinted at a separation of Zain (Harshad Arora) and Aaliya (Preetika Rao), the makers of the show were delaying the same for a while. However, in yesterday’s episode Zain finally divorced Aaliya by saying ‘Talakh’ for the third time.
In the last few episodes, it seemed that the lovebirds would reunite as they got to spend some quality time with each other. However, Surraiya (Suchitra Pillai) reached their hotel with Sanam (Priya Shinde) without informing Zain. When Aaliya’s hubby saw them, he remembered his promise made to Surraiya to marry Sanam. Zain with a heavy heart had to divorce Aaliya. The lead female protagonist too accepted the separation.
In the upcoming episode, Rehaan (Nandish Sandhu) will reach Zain’s hotel and ask him to hear the recording where Nafisa (Gunjan Vijaya) has accepted her crime of killing Usman (Naved Aslam).
How will Zain react to this new development in the Usman death case? After knowing the truth, will Zain and Aaliya reunite again?

Qubool Hai: Will Tanveer create a rift between Aahil and Sanam?

Aahil and Sanam maybe married and may have chemistry between them, but nothing is going too well

In the recent episode we saw that Aahil (Karanvir Bohra) supports Sanam (Surbhi Jyoti) when Tanveer (Amrapali Gupta) blames Sanam of stealing the necklace. Aahil interrupts his mother and defends Sanam. This comes as a big surprise for both Sanam and Tanveer.

Sanam is humbled by Aahil’s gesture and thanks him profusely for supporting her. Tanveer on the other hand fumes that she is slowly losing her pawn, ×Aahil, to a servant. She vows to take revenge and teach ×Sanam her place.
Aahil accompanies Sanam for Haya’s wedding. As usual due to a misunderstanding they end up saying something mean to each other. Now Tanveer knows that Aahil and Sanam are not exactly on talking terms yet. We wonder if she will deepen the communication gap between them by creating other issues. Well we really hope Tanveer does no such thing, ‘coz the series is just getting interesting as they are slowly coming closer. Fingers crossed!

Abhay Deol or Karan Kundra: Who makes a better host for Channel V’s Gumrah – Vote now!

Both the actors have been hosts of television shows before and seem fairly decent at their job – but who is better?

Karan Kundra has been the host of Channel V’s teen crime show – Gumrah for about three seasons, but something changed in the fourth season. It seems ever since the actor was roped in for MTV’s Fanaah, Channel V decided to cut him loose. The actor has now been replaced by Bollywood hunk Abhay Deol. In the meanwhile, Kundra is now hosting MTV Webbed 2 with ex-girlfriend Kritika Kamra.
Now we like both Karan and Abhay personally, but who makes a better host for the teen crime show. Well, we think Karan was truly great at it. Over the years, Kundra has managed to create a bond with viewers and performed his duty as the host diligently. While Deol is charming, suave, and great with words – there is a slight disconnect.
Well that is strictly our opinion, tell us what you think BollywoodLifers by voting.

Backstage Pass: On Hrithik’s trail...

Trailer is going BANG BANG

Cutting the trailer of a Hrithik Roshan starrer isn't the easiest of tasks as every shot in the teaser needs his nod. The scenario wasn't any different for his latest outing Bang Bang, co-starring Katrina Kaif. And to ensure that there are no creative differences between the superstar, director, cast and crew, a team headed by brothers Binny and Ravi Padda who cut the promo, got involved in the project from the scripting stage.

"We were shown the final draft of the script which gave us absolute clarity on the tonality and the scale of the film. In the first teaser which has received over 10 million hits online, the idea was to showcase the expanse of the film while retaining the viewers curiosity," says Binny, whose team of 20 conceptualised, supervised and executed the teaser.

They worked on five versions of differing lengths, some running over two minutes, and presented all of them to director Siddharth Anand. Then the marketing team and cast saw them. Everybody gave their inputs which they fine-tuned to create one video which met with everyone's consent.

Binny's team has previously worked on films as varied as Lagaan, Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and more recently, 2 States. "My brief this time was to make Bang Bang look like a big Hollywood summer blockbuster which is high on action. The big challenge was that when we were cutting the first trailer, filming was still going on in Prague, so we had excellent but limited footage to work with," explains Binny.

Asked why the teaser begins with the cliched countdown, he reveals that it is part of an extended, crucial sequence.

Another highlight that comes with an adrenaline rush is when out of nowhere, a F1 car zooms into the middle of a busy street. "We had planned to use that shot in a later promo but Hrithik insisted, confident that it would have the viewer's pulse racing. The result is stunning," Binny exults.

He adds that Hrithik, like Shah Rukh and Aamir Khan, is involved with every aspect of the film. "His commitment is amazing and his judgement on what shots to retain and what to save for later is impeccable," he raves.

There's been some criticism about Katrina being sidelined in the first teaser but Binny insists that everybody was focussed on the "greater good." So Kat didn't feel left out? "Well, there's a possibility that she felt overshadowed by Hrithik's action sequences," he admits, and quickly adds,"But she knew that this is only a teaser. She features prominently in the campaign that's about to kickoff."

                          Hail King Khan!

 Hail king khan...!!!

Shah Rukh Khan may well have laid claim to the adage `Bollywood ka Badhsah' or `King Khan' all these years, but now it seems Salman Khan is intent on taking away at least one of the tags.

Mirror was the first to report that Salman will be seen in a double role in Sooraj Barjatya's next, Prem Ratan Dhan Pao. Now, we can report that one of his two roles is that of a king with a heart of gold who answers to the call of Ratan and rules over a fantasy kingdom. He has an identical twin, Prem, who's a "common man" and miles removed from his world.

A source close to the production revealed, "Sooraj has written the character of Ratan with Salman in mind. He's the ideal raja who is loved and worshipped by his subjects. Sonam Kapoor plays the role of a princess."

The unit is currently shooting at ND Studio in Karjat where an elaborate set has been erected. "Salman has given a lot of inputs for both the characters, Prem and Ratan, which are positive roles," adds the source.

However, even though in Sooraj's world everyone is happy and good, in this film there's a character with strong negative shades, which will be enacted by Neil Nitin Mukesh."Neil is playing a vengeful prince who is King Salman's step-brother," informs the source.

The film also features Armaan Kohli, Swara Bhaskar and Deepak Dobriyal in pivotal roles.

Ink club

 INk club

When Saif Ali Khan got 'Kareena' inked on his wrist three months into his relationship with the actress, everyone assumed the tattoo was false and would fade away in six months. It's still there, six years later, and the couple are now happily married.

Deepika Padukone has split with Ranbir Kapoor but still wears RK on her neck and a delicate chain around one ankle. We're not sure if it binds her to her current beau Ranveer Singh.

Sonakshi Sinha's starry dreams are reflected in the star on her neck while Mallaika Arora Khan has an angel on her hip. Sushmita Sen's body is a work of art while Ajay 'Singham' Devgn proudly sports a Devi on his chest.

Are these just art for art's sake?

Or do they carry a more symbolic meaning? We got some of Bollywood's beautiful belles to decode the significance of their etchings for us.

Dance with me: Tapsee Pannu

Tapsee Pannu has always been interested in body art but fearing parental opposition waited till she had finished school. She then got a dancing girl tattooed on her right ankle which reflects her free spirit.

The Chashme Baddoor actress added a second, right above her hip-bone. "It's my name which is unique and has a nice ring to it," she smiles, adding that none of the two are instantly visible. "If I see them every day, I will get bored," she reasons.

Warding off evil: Jacqueline Fernandez

The Sri Lankan beauty queen got herself inked during her first visit to India in 2008. Jaqueline Fernandez sports an Eye of Ra, a protective symbol, on her nape. "It was a spontaneous decision which I took when vacationing with my friends in Bangalore. They suggested the eye would help me ward off evil and it has worked so far!" she laughs.

Looking for inspiration: Ileana D'cruz

When she was holidaying in Melbourne with a friend, Ileana D'Cruz got the Latin word 'Inspirare' inked on her wrist. "It's taken on a spiritual meaning and has made me the actor that I am today. Why be jealous or insecure about anybody, when we can inspire everybody and grow together," she muses.

It's all in the name: Shruti Haasan

Kamal Haasan's daughter has five tattoos, the first being a Sanskrit shlok on her back. "I was 19 and studying in Los Angeles when I got it done. It's something I grew up listening to," Shruti explains. Her father wasn't pleased but mum Sarika was cool. Her second tattoo on her back is Shruti in Tamil. The rest include a musical note on the back of her ear, the word 'Rise' on her ankle and a rose on her wrist. "Rise urges me to rise whenever I fall while the clef represents the musician in me." And roses ? "Because they are beautiful!" she says.

Mum's the word, and so is dad! Richa Chadda

The Gangs of Wasseypur actress has the names of her parents inked on her right wrist. "I live alone in Mumbai and their names reassure me that they are around," says Richa Chadda. Asked if she ever thought of getting a boyfriend's name inked, she retorts, "Boyfriends come and go, but your parents will always stay with you."

For the kids: Raveena Tandon

The actress has the names of her two children tattooed on her back. "It's the kundli names of my kids - Vishaka and Vardhan - both mean Shiva. But since my husband Anil was insistent that we begin their name with an 'R', their names are -Rasha Vishaka and Ranbir Vardhan", Raveena says.

Ranbir steals time to wrap up delayed film

Ranbir steals time to wrap up delayed time

After several delays and date clashes, Roy, Ranbir Kapoor's film with Jacqueline Fernandez and Arjun Rampal, is finally back on track. Initially, Jacqueline's commitment to Kick had threatened her presence in the film and then had RK got busy with Jagga Jasoos and Tamasha.

Just when rumours about the film getting indefinitely delayed had started making the rounds, Mirror has learnt that the actor has allotted 20 days to the film's director Vikram Singh, starting from August 21.

Revealed a source, "They will be leaving for Malaysia for a 20-day schedule where a majority of the portions with Ranbir will be shot. He has squeezed time between the schedules of Jagga Jasoos and Tamasha, which might now be moved to December or early next year."

Elaborating on RK's character in the film, the source added, "He plays a skilled art-thief , it's an intriguing character, unlike anything he's attempted so far.

Confirming the same, Vikram told Mirror, "Yes, we've got RK's combination dates in the last two weeks of August. A major chunk of the film will be completed in that schedule as we need to be ready for a February release."

Aamir Khan: There's a story in every image of PK

Aamir Khan: There's a story in every image of PK

"There is a story in each and every image that we reveal. We will have a poster campaign and we will reveal eight to 10 posters till the time the film releases," Aamir, who plays the lead role in the film, told reporters at the launch here.

If the first one had Aamir going nude, the second poster features him in a red angrakha teamed up with white pyjama and a trumpet in his hand.

"The more posters we will reveal, the more people will get confused," Aamir said.

The first poster set tongues wagging and social networking sites were inundated with jokes targeting Aamir, but the 49-year-old takes the barbs and criticisms in his stride and added that movie buffs will understand the logic behind it only after watching the film.

"Some people have loved it and some people didn't like it, but you all will understand once you will see the film. I am happy with the response.

"There were some great jokes, and different stuffs on Facebook and Internet. I enjoyed it," he said.

"We were silent when our first poster came out, so we thought of clearing all your doubts and answering all your questions this time," he added.

Being prepared for a December release, director Rajkumar Hirani's "PK" also stars Anushka Sharma among others.

Mahabharat: How will the Pandavas seek revenge from Ashwatthama?

In the last episode, we saw Ashwatthama (Ankit Mohan) fulfilling Duryodhan’s (Arpit Ranka) last wishes. He was seen killing all the five sons of the Pandavas and informing Duryodhan at his funeral that he had completed the dead’s last wishes, hence, he can leave the world in peace after all. Draupadi (Pooja Sharma), on the other hand, was distraught on seeing her children killed and demanded to be burnt alive as she had lost her will to live. The episode ended with Ashwatthama facing the Pandavas in their wrathful avatar.
In the upcoming episode, we will see Bheem (Saurav Gurjar) and Nakul (Vin Rana) hurting Ashwatthama. Where Bheem will hold the latter by the neck, Nakul will be seen stabbing him. This, however, will not kill Ashwatthama who will slowly pull the sword out of his chest, calling the Pandavas fools in believing that they could succeed in killing him. Further, Arjun (Shaheer Sheikh) and Ahswatthama will pit their Brahmastras against each other when Ashwatthama’s Brahmastra will hit Uttara, just as the Pandavas had feared.

Digangana Suryavanshi aka Veera: Farnaz Shetty and I don’t have anything in common to talk about

A few days ago, the media reported that Digangana Suryavanshi, who plays Veera in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas Veera, is throwing tantrums on the sets of the Star Plus show. It was reported that the actor threw a fit when she was asked to share her hair stylist with Farnaz Shetty (Gunjan). The stories doing media rounds also claimed that the channel and the production house has warned Digangana to be more dignified or else they would replace her. Considering, the actor faced similar problems on the sets of her previous show Qubool Hai, everyone believed these stories.
We caught up with Digangana to learn about her side of the story. “I don’t know why people are cooking up such stories about me. There is nothing happening on the sets of the show, everything is just fine,” said the actor.

So how exactly is your equation with Farnaz- your onscreen bhabhi? She replied, “On the sets, I am extremely good friends with everybody. As far as Farnaz is concerned, we are two very different people. We barely have any scenes together. However, whenever we shoot together, we are great with each other. Nowadays, the shoots are coordinated only between couples, so I barely have a scene with Farnaz. Plus, Farnaz is quite older than me and is from a very different zone of life. We don’t have anything in common to talk about. When the hairstyle story came out, both Farnaz and I were laughing over it – it was very bizarre.”

A few days back, a certain section of the media reported that the channel has given Digangana warnings that if her behaviour on the sets does not change, she would be replaced. “I called up the channel and the production house when this story came out. They said, ‘don’t think about it too much. Just hear it from one ear and let it out from the other. These rumours about me throwing temper tantrums on the set are so unlike me. Shivin (Narang), Vishal (Vashishtha), Shaguftaji and I are all such great friends on the set, so I don’t get where these rumours spiral from. The production house has said they are 100% behind me ‘coz these stories are totally baseless,” added the actor.

Singham Returns Review: Ajay Devgn’s earnest performance saves Rohit Shetty’s film!

What’s it about: The story revolves around Ajay Devgn aka Bajirao Singham, a nonsense cop in Mumbai police, who faces an ordeal when his constable is found dead with an ambulance filled with crores of money. Meanwhile his mentor Guruji, played by Anupam Kher, a party leader, decides to back the candidature of young deserving candidates. Irked by this decision from Guruji, alliance party leader Zakir Hussain and evil godman Amol Gupte hatch a plot to assassinate Anupam Kher. Will Singham find the murders of the constable and foil the plan of the baddies to kill Guruji?

What’s good: Director Rohit Shetty is a master of his craft, when it comes to the technicalities of the film. The fight sequences are brilliantly executed and are exhilarating to watch. The camera work in the movie spot on. Ajay Devgn as a strict police officer shines, emoting with his eyes and packing a punch with his deadly dialogues and high octane stunts. Infact, it is Devgn’s earnest performance which makes the film worth watching. It is refreshing to see Dayanand Shetty play a cop in the film other than his popular TV series CID. Ironically, his name in the film is also Daya and the scene where he breaks the door gets massive applause from the audience.  Since the film is set in Maharashtra, Rohit Shetty has used Marathi dialogues generously, adding to the authenticity of the film. There a few scenes which stand out in the film like the Singham’s intro scene or the one where our hero is confronted and shamed by a woman for beating his son.

What’s bad: Though the film has two villains in the form of Amol Gupte and Zakir Hussain, but the film’s main villain is its weak script which has nothing new to offer. Kareena Kapoor tries hard to impress in a poorly etched role as Singham’s fiance. The pretty lady has nothing much to do and even the absence of her character would not have made any difference to the plot. The romance between Ajay and Bebo is thanda and the jokes are far from being funny. Amol Gupte has got the right body language to play a con man disguised as godman, but it is his over enunciation of  every word which annoys us a little. The film has some serious logical lapses and the baddies aren’t menacing enough to give Singham a tough competition.

What to do: While Singham Returns is a must watch for every Rohit Shetty fan as the director dishes out a typical masala film, the ones who look for emotional connection with films  may stay away from this Independence Day release. Watch it if you have nothing else to do this weekend.

Salman Khan gets a royal treatment for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo!

Salman Khan is going for a massive image make over. After his cool look in Kick, the actor will be seen wearing heavy ornaments and a traditional Indian attire in Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
The film that is being shot as of now has Salman in a double role playing a bad prince and a good prince. As part of the role he’s required to wear a lot of ethnic wear that also includes jewellery and Indian attire.
This will be a total image make over for him and his fans are going to in for a major shock when they see his first look from the film.

Exclusive: Sonam Kapoor travels from Karjat to Mumbai for Khoobsurat promotions

Sonam Kapoor is going all out to promote her film Khoobsurat. The actress who is also shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is shuttling between ND Studios in Karjat and Mumbai.
The reason being that Sonam has to manage her time schedule between both the films. Sonam is shooting for a song with Salman for Prem Ratan and after that she wraps her shoot and comes to Mumbai to promote Khoobsurat.
That’s quite a bit of multitasking we say!

Katrina Kaif curious about Deepika Padukone’s Happy New Year?

Katrina Kaif was heard asking her friends about Happy New Year. The actress who has worked with Shah Rukh Khan and director Farah Khan was heard getting inquisitive about their film Happy New Year.
Interestingly the film also has her rival Deepika Padukone in the lead role. It seems that Kat was curious to know about the buzz surrounding the film.
We think it is healthy to have such competition.

Happy New Year motion poster: Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone are here to set your hearts racing !!!

After seven thrilling posters of Happy New Year, the much awaited motion poster of this Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone-Abhishek Bachchan starrer is here. And must we say, it was worth the wait.

The poster has the entire cast in a ‘get-set-go’ pose which promises a lot of action in the film. The tagline, “Iss Diwaali… todenge taale… Indiawale” is pretty impressive and the tantalizing music raises our curiosity.
We see the actors dressed in two avatars; first like slick robbers and then like jazzy performers. Now these distinct looks have piqued our interest and we can’t wait for the full trailer to go on the floors! Each of the cast members have even changed their names on Twitter to their character names from the film! The stage is set and SRK, Dippy and Jr Bachchan are ready to rob us of our patience!

9 Films To Get Excited About In 2014

 HIGHWAY :

A story that has been with Imtiaz Ali for 15 years, Highway is finally set to roll this February, starring one-film old Alia Bhatt, and Randeep Hooda, in an unlikely pairing. Sucker for Imtiaz’s understated, unconventional style, and with Rahman’s music to boot, I’m all agog for this one.

HAIDER :

An adaptation of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Vishal Bhardwaj’s next will have Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor in lead roles. The film, which courted much controversy while shooting in Kashmir, highlights the present situation in the strife-torn region. Lets hope the film lives up to all the noise.

PK :

After a long haul and Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster (3 Idiots in 2009), Rajkumar Hirani will be back this December with Peekay, a political satire, starring Aamir Khan, Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani and Sanjay Dutt.

DETECTIVE BYOMUKESH BAKSHI :

Be it as the carefree, boy-next-door Ishaan of Kai Po Che or the confused lovesick boy in Shuddh Desi Romance, Sushant Singh Rajput, who took home all debut awards in 2013, well proved he’s here to stay. Taking a make-or-break leap into an unexplored territory, in his still-fledgling filmy career, the delectably enchanting actor is sure to up the ante with this Dibakar Bannerjee film. Another award in the offing?

UGLY :

The long-delayed thriller, which received a standing ovation at the Cannes last year, is Anurag Kashyap’s comeback as a director after Gangs of Wasseypur & Bombay Talkies, and the most anticipated film this year. The lesser-known lead Rahul Bhatt (TV actor, who gained popularity with Henna) garnered much appreciation for his role.

CITY LIGHTS :

The director-actor duo (Hansal Mehta-Rajkummar Rao) that gave us one of the finest films of last year, Shahid, will be back this May with City Lights, a remake of the critically acclaimed ‘Metro Manila.’ (Metro Manila was Britain’s Oscar entry in the foreign language film category).

QISSA :

One of the most talked about festival films last year was this period drama starring Irrfan Khan, Tisca Chopra, Tillotama Shome, Rasika Dugal. It took director Anup Singh 12 years to finally bring it to the audiences.

BOMBAY VELVET :

The dark, zany period drama is being touted as the biggest collaboration of B’wood and H’wood (backed by Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle). It took Anurag Kashyap nine long years to finally get this going. Some of it has been shot in Sri Lanka, to recreate the Bombay of the 50-60s. Ranbir, Anushka will be seen in lead roles, while Karan Johar will make his debut with it, in a negative role.

FINDING FANNY FERNADES :

English-Konkani satire starring Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor, Finding Fanny Fernandes is Homi Adjania’s (Being Cryus, Cocktail) next. A story of five characters who set off on a road trip that ends up unexpectedly long, Finding Fanny… also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, Dimple Kapadia. Deepika’s alleged ‘lover’ will also make a guest appearance in the film ;-) Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan who were the first choices for lead roles, were hardly enthused and turned down the offer. Lucky we.....

Bollywood News

I'm in an industry where i would be judged :RANI MUKHERJEE

Actor Rani Mukerji would be glad if rumours of her being pregnant came true as she surely wants to start a family soon.

Rani, who married Yashraj Films’ director-producer Aditya Chopra earlier this year, in one of her interviews had confessed that she wants to ‘expect soon’. This sparked pregnancy rumours few months after their marriage.

“Rumours about my marriage started even before I actually got married….stated seeing my husband. If rumours of pregnancy comes true then great…very soon I will become pregnant also. Because these rumours will somewhere reach the universe and the universe will make it happen,” Rani told a popular portal in an interview.

“For every woman it is important to feel like a woman and go through the cycle of being a mother and I am no different,” she said. It was also reported that while shooting on the set of popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 7, where she had gone to promote her upcoming film Mardaani  Rani needed help to climb stairs.

The actor has also been seen wearing anarkalis suits and other loser garments which hide her belly.
On being asked if she was annoyed at being judged every time, Rani says, “No it doesn’t matter if I am judged. I am in an industry where I would be judged. If people stop judging me then it would be like I am over accomplished. So let them judge. In this industry any news is good news whether it is good or bad…its news.”
Rani said she would be willing to work even during her pregnancy. “It depends on which director is keen to work with me in a pregnant state as well. In the west actresses work during pregnancy I think it has happened in India also. It depends on what kind of pregnancy one is into. As every woman goes through her bodily changes during pregnancy,” Rani said.

“I need to get pregnant and then get a script which the director and I should feel like doing,” she added.

I have managed to survive on my own terms and conditions : AJAY DEVGAN

Stuff that makes Ajay Devgn go ‘aata majhi satakli
I have known him now for more than 18 years and Ajay Devgn has remained the same – a man of few words, reserved, succinct, to the point and brutally honest. He is one of the few stars to have remained unchanged by success. If there’s a cause he believes in, which is close to his heart, he will take it up.
When I meet him this time, Ajay is in an angry mood. Media reports of alleged rape cases, especially against children, and the sheer helplessness of it all, is making him breathe fire. Over to Ajay Devgn or Bajirao Singham (it’s as if the reel hero has become a real one), the character he plays in his next release Singham Returns.

How different is Singham Returns from the first one?
It’s bigger, made on a larger scale, is much better and deals with a larger issue. Audiences will enjoy themselves thoroughly and get entertained. Women and children loved the first film. I took a lot of time to figure out why, but my personal theory is that women loved Singham because they can identify with the character of Singham. They want to stand up against all the wrong being done to them. It’s about respecting them and taking a stand for them. Today’s women are braver and clearer about what they need to do if that respect is taken away. It’s not a message-oriented film, but somewhere down the line you connect with what’s happening in the country, the character of Singham and how you should be. This time around, there’s a connect with the youth also. It’s about how the youth and media can make a difference. Today is not the time to get scared and step back. Today you can speak against whoever it is. You can get media and youth support because the literacy rate has gone up. So if you are ready for a fight (and I am not talking about a physical fight), but a fight against the system in some way or the other, you have all the support. Today, people have become conscious about taking bribes etc because they are petrified that the media will expose it. Things may not change overnight, but things are changing.

What makes Ajay Devgn get angry and say ‘aata majhi satakli’ in real life?
Everything that I feel is unfair or unjust makes me angry. So many times, I have stood up for whatever I felt I needed to, even in our film industry. Let’s not go into those details again. When I get upset and irritated, I just disconnect with that situation. If I can, I go and help and sort out the situation, otherwise I disconnect from those people whom I find doing something wrong. Sometimes what I read in the media also upsets me – like men allegedly molesting or eve-teasing women on the streets. If I saw something like that, I wouldn’t drive by. I would take a stand and pull those people up. I think it’s really disgusting and what sort of mindset they have to be treating women so badly and raping children. I think then there’s a mental problem there. They must not be normal, because I sit back and try to think as a normal person and I don’t think one can be capable – of forcing yourself on a woman. And if you can, what kind of frustrated person are you? I just can’t figure out any possible or reasonable excuse or reason for it.

Faced with such a situation, would you react like an Ajay Devgn or Bajirao Singham?
I would love to kill that person! That’s an instinctive reaction. I am not saying one should do that, but that’s the first reaction that comes. I know the law takes its own course, but it makes you feel so frustrated sometimes, when you have women around you in your family, you have a daughter. You feel like they (the perpetrators of these crimes) should be shot dead in the streets in front of everybody because that will set an example. Or they should be hanged. Now that is an extreme reaction and not what our society is made of, but that reaction comes straight from your heart. You can’t disrespect women! You know that it should not be done. Somewhere, some line has to be drawn. The court has to take strict action and not take years to give verdict and just hang such people. I really believe that rape is worse than murder because when a person is murdered his/her life is over. The suffering is over but with rape the suffering begins. That’s terrible!

Why did you decide to release Singham Returns on August 15 (Independence Day)?
For me, Singham is not a hero who will go out and fight 20 people, he is a characteristic which should be and is there, in every human being – bring out that Singham in you but for that you need to do little things like even helping somebody on the road or just for your family. That’s what is, the Singham moment I feel. That’s what the character Singham is about – very righteous, trying to do the right thing and brave despite all the odds against him. Obviously, because it’s a film there’s action, superhero kind of stuff etc, but you can pick up these little moments of what Singham does and in real life, you all can do that. It will make a lot of difference. As simple as somebody handicapped on the road and you help him cross it – even that’s a Singham moment. I have done so many things at so many times, but if you ask me where and when I don’t remember because I don’t collect memories like okay, it’s a good thing I did. But yes, we all do things for our people. That’s why we are releasing Singham Returns on August 15 because it connects with the theme of the film and also because it’s a good weekend. These days weekends have become very important though it’s not as big as Eid, Diwali or Christmas, still it does make a difference.

These festival weekend releases have never mattered to you?
No. Because I don’t know when I will be completing my film for a festival release. Though this time, we did that for Singham Returns – to meet the target release date of August 15 but every time you can’t do that.

Like Krrish and Dhoom, do you and Rohit Shetty plan to take the character of Bajirao Singham and the film forward as a franchise with Singham 3, 4, 5, etc?
It depends on how well this film does. Singham was appreciated a lot and it was pressure from the audience and people around us who said that they want to see a sequel. If there’s a good reaction for Singham 2, we will definitely carry it forward. I am excited about Singham Returns, but am not nervous because I know we have made a good film. I have been nervous so many times before the release of some… I knew that the film wouldn’t work because while shooting, we realise that. But where Singham Returns is concerned, that’s not the case. It works. I also know that there are a lot of expectations, but I feel we have met those expectations so when people see the film they will not feel that they expected more. The audience will get what they want.

You always make films which are not completely nonsensical or titillating.
Yes. Though my films don’t have a preachy message, I have one conscious thought that I do not want to do films that are vulgar and that will embarrass kids. In my films, we will avoid vulgarity and indecent exposure. If there’s exposure it is only as much is required and aesthetically done, but not just to titillate. I think like this, not just for my children but for everybody. As a responsible actor and human being, you need to do it. I have done in the past, a few embarrassing films, and I have realised and confessed to that. I went to the media and said that I won’t be doing films that are vulgar with double-meaning dialogues etc. I have had my share and I have apologised for it.

Were you approached for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani?
Yes, I was approached for the lead role. There were talks but we couldn’t agree on the terms and conditions which were dates, money everything.

Bhansali felt that your character Bajirao Singham would be too close to the character of Bajirao in his film. Do you agree with him?
There was a disagreement on terms and conditions. But while Singham Returns is releasing now, his film will release in December 2015 so there’s a lot of time for people to identify me with the character in Bajirao Mastani. Do I agree with him? What you just told is something I have heard for the first time. I would like to tell people to think up better excuses and be honest enough to admit that we couldn’t agree on the T&C, which is what I am saying. What is wrong in hiding that? Let’s be honest about that. Why give excuses? Because you look like a fool! Did you buy it? (laughs). So they sound ridiculous. Even I can make better excuses.

Are you doing Tusshar Kapoor and Shabina Khan’s Hindi remake of the Tamil horror film Kanchana?
As of now I am. They are working on the script. Once Singham Returns releases, I will be hearing their script. A lot of people think I will be playing the transgender, but a lot of things have been changed from the original. That is why there is speculation about me playing the transgender. That is why they are working on the script and the final draft has to be read.

Are you a director’s actor or now that you are a director yourself, do you insist on doing your own take in a scene?
I am a director’s actor. Where I have a rapport with the director, I do suggest things, but finally, it is the director’s call. I would never insist on my way of doing it. It just depends on who convinces me.

As an actor, when your film doesn’t do well (Himmatwala included), you have accepted the blame yourself.
Why shouldn’t I? It’s my mistake. Why would I blame the director? You have taken a call in your head and decided that this is going to work. You can’t blame the director for it. He has not misled you. He has done what he has told you what he was doing. It is your judgement finally that takes the call on doing a particular film. Every actor has his own take on it, but I would not blame the director. I feel the whole team should take the blame.

Shah Rukh Khan’s visit on your sets was a surprise to many. Did it come as a surprise to you too?
I really don’t know if it came as a surprise to a lot of people. Was there ever a cold war or even war between us? Where did he or I abuse each other in print? A lot of it was media-created. It wasn’t a surprise for me because Shah Rukh and I have met earlier also and whenever we meet, we meet very amicably and warmly. There has never been any issue of us disliking each other.

You don’t socialise with him or invite him to your parties…
That doesn’t mean that we are enemies. I am not a very social person. Who do I invite and where do I go? It’s not just one person. Who am I friends with? It doesn’t mean that you socialise with someone just because he’s a friend and if you don’t that makes you enemies. It doesn’t happen that way. We are colleagues, we all work in the same industry and we are there to cooperate and help each other whenever required. Sometimes there are clashes because of products, but that doesn’t mean it’s a personal issue. I don’t even socialise with my friends – Salman (Khan), Abhishek (Bachchan) and Sanju (Dutt).

Is it true that you are not happy with the way Prabhu Dheva’s Action Jackson has shaped out?
That’s not true. I have been shooting for it. The only regret is that it got delayed because we couldn’t finish the film on time, and I couldn’t change the release date of Singham Returns. There were various factors for the delay – sometimes schedules got delayed or cancelled, but these things were not in our control, so nobody is to be blamed for it. Now it’s releasing on November 7 this year.

Now, it will clash with Akshay Kumar’s The Shaukeens?
I have no idea about that. All I know is that we announced our release date four months ago.

There was much animosity between YRF and you. Have you patched up and moved on?
There was never a problem to ‘patch up’. I don’t have issues with them at all. I was fighting a case — not against them, but against the system — and that case is also now over. Nothing came of it. We both have moved on, I guess. I had a chat with Ashish (Patil) from YRF and realised that Adi (Aditya Chopra) was fighting for his product and I was fighting for mine. Our stands are clear. Who was right and who was wrong doesn’t matter. Everybody will try and protect his own baby. And the day our films released, it was over. Once that got over, I think we should forget the issue and move on.

If you were approached for a film by YRF, would you do it?
If it’s a great role and film… of course, I will do it!

You are not part of the Khan camps. Do you feel you are like a lone wolf working on your own?
I don’t believe in camps. In fact, I am open to working with everybody. I work with people I am comfortable with. I don’t interfere in anybody else’s business and so, am not in any camp. I have managed to survive successfully despite this… and on my terms and conditions!

Narendra Modi Ditches Mahindra Scorpio for an Armoured BMW 7-Series

A lot was said about the possibility of Narendra Modi - India's 15th Prime Minister - choosing the Mahindra Scorpio over BMW's 7 Series as his official car. But, it's finally clear that Mr. Modi has opted for a specially designed armoured 7 Series.
On his first day to office, he came chauffeured in a BMW 7-Series, given to the Prime Minister in India.
The 'made in India' Scorpio by Mahindra is among Mr. Modi's favourite vehicles - he used it throughout his campaign for 2014 General Elections. In fact, for his swearing-in ceremony, he was driven to Rashtrapati Bhawan in his armoured Scorpio.

Anand Mahindra, chairman and managing director, Mahindra & Mahindra, was reported saying that it would be a moment of pride for every Indian if Mr. Modi chooses the indigenous Scorpio as his official mode of transport.
According to reports, in a letter written to Mr. Modi, Anand Mahindra had requested for the Scorpio to be used as his official car. However, the final call on Prime Minister's set of wheels was taken by the Speical Protection Group (SPG), and it chose the BMW flagship for the job.
The Special Protection Group (SPG) was formed in 1988 and is responsible for providing proximate security to the Prime Minster, former PMs, as well as to the members of their respective families. Family members of the serving PM may decline the security, as can the former PMs and their family members.
BMW 7-Series
The 7 Series in question here is specifically kitted out for the serving Prime Minister (Mr. Modi, in this case), and is known to be the safest vehicle in the country. It can protect its occupants from everything ranging from bombs to advanced rifle fires. The vehicle can also run on flat tyres for miles and has advanced heat sensors to debar bombs and missiles. Moreover, the fuel tank of the vehicle doesn't explode even when the car comes under attack and is fired upon, or set explosives to. The cabin turns into a gas proof chamber in case of a gas attack.

It would've been a mega news had the Prime Minister opted for the Scorpio as his official car, but it is clear that Mahindra still has a long road to cover, not just in terms of performance and dynamics, but also security and attack preparedness.
The car given to Mr. Modi is the 760Li High Security edition that visually looks similar to the 745Li. BMW considers this to be a key factor, as many customers give great importance to 'discretion and anonymity'. This model meets highest available ballistic protection class B6/B7 - reason why it is among leading security vehicles globally for individuals with top security needs.
But the Prime Minister's 760Li High Security edition isn't just another of the many examples that run around the globe. This one has been given higher level of security than the regular High Security edition.
To train drivers of these specially crafted cars, BMW, under its 'Training for Professionals' course, teaches the ways of vehicle control in extreme conditions. Under the guidance of highly experienced instructors in the security field, drivers are trained extremely sophisticated escape manoeuvres such as the slalom in reverse and the tactical turn in double formation.
Mr. Modi is one of the most dynamic PMs India has ever had. He is also the most at-risk PMs India has ever had - after Rajiv Gandhi, perhaps. Protection measures for him will be higher than for all the previous Prime Ministers. The satellite phone and jammers in Narendra Modi's car might be installed with new and more sophisticated communication and intelligence features. There will be around 9 cars in Modi's motorcade along with bomb squad vehicles. If reports are to be believed, there might be two or more identical looking/dummy BMW 7 Series in Modi's convoy for security purposes.
